As Catholics our entire purpose and goal of living faithfully on earth is to one day attain the beatific vision and celebrate with the angels and saints in Heaven! Right?
Is that what you believe? Then why do we forget that so easily in our daily lives and strive to attain our dream job, our dream wedding, our dream house/ vacation, etc.. Believe me I’m not saying forget about all your dreams and never aspire to anything on this earth, but rather I’m saying let’s stay vigilant and not let those earthly wants and desires rule our world.

It is so easy to get caught up in the small picture and sweat the little things šĀ I’m right there with you and am not perfect by any means so maybe we can help each other remember this!
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because of the current job/living situation in my own life.
Don’t get caught up in the goodĀ feelingsĀ associated with people telling you that you have theĀ dream job, or look great in that new outfit! DO what makes you happy and pleases God by following his plan! You will not regret that decision.
